iT bEgins iN a LANe..
Located in Melbourne suburbs called Footscray the Laneways a blocked together to hold together a musical atmosphere. This atmosphere with the combination of 5 ingredients make up a very well put together, splendid day. These ingredients are music, dance, people, nature and art. With all elements mixed together it makes one hell of a day. A day to forget your sorrows, dance until your legs fall off and a great way to tone those muscles as those hills you walk up are a killer.
The weather was amazing. I had been dying to buy a pair of happy pants and wear as a jumpsuit for ages I finally got my chance. I just loved the vibrant psychedelic colours paired with a tan belt to break up the pattern. Accessories with tan weaved shoes and a tanned back pack, I was ready for a great day that layed ahead.
This year was my second LANEWAY and the lineup was pretty intense from King Krule, Mount Kimbie, Jamie XX, HAIM, The Growl, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Savages and many, many other great acts, it proved to be quite excellent.
